D-tech Compomax is a light-curing Nano Hybrid Composite for anterior and posterior filling of all cavity classes. It is a light-cured resin-based dental restorative material. This system has enhanced color stability; designed to accommodate the ‘Multi-shade layering’ technique. This not only guarantees a natural and highly aesthetic filling but also minimization of polymerization shrinkage. Compomax is used with a dentine enamel bond & is available in the syringe.
Features:
High compressive strength
High flexural strength
Low shrinkage
Easy to sculpt
Does not stick to instrument
ContrainditionThe application of Compomax is contraindicated if drainage or the recommended application technique cannot be achieved. Do not apply directly on open pulp or if there are any known allergies against one of the components
Key Specifications:
High Flexural & Compressive Strength
Highly Aesthetic
Shelf life :- 2 years
Polymer-based restorative materials
Storage:
Do not store above 25 C. Discharge syringes immediately after use to avoid the material curing from ambient light. Do not use it after the expiry date.
Packaging:
4 x 4g Light Cured Universal Composite Syringe
1 x 2.5g Etching gel syringe
1 x 5ml Single step 5th generation bonding agent
50 x Fibred Applicator tips
20 x Angled tips
Direction to Use:
Prior to preparation, clean the tooth, and remove all cleaning residues with a water spray. Determine the vita tooth shade. Use a rubber dam where possible.
Prepare the cavity according to the general rules of adhesive technology. Round off enamel edges and protect pulp areas.
Etch as required, according to your preferred technique, e.g. etch plus. Follow the instructions for using the materials used.
Apply bond primer. (AQ Bond)
Apply a lining of thin-flowing composite (compo Flow) or compomer as required. We recommend using a matrix.
Fill the cavity in the required shade in layers of a maximum of 2 mm thickness. Light-cure each layer for 40 seconds.
Surplus removal, contouring, and fine shaping are carried out e.g. With a diamond finisher and flexible discs of decreasing grain size. High-gloss polishing can be carried out with a \npolishing paste using polishing cups/discs.
