Direction to Use:
- Tooth preparation: The decayed or damaged tooth will first need to be prepared by removing any decay and shaping the tooth to fit the stainless steel crown.
- Crown selection: The appropriate size and shape of the stainless steel crown should be selected to fit the prepared tooth. The crown should be checked for fit before placement
- Crown placement: The stainless steel crown is placed over the prepared tooth and crimped to fit snugly against the tooth. The crown is then cemented in place with a dental adhesive.
- Finishing: Any excess cement should be removed and the occlusion checked to ensure that the crown is properly aligned with the opposing teeth.
- Follow-up: The patient should be monitored for any signs of discomfort or complications, and follow-up appointments scheduled as needed.
