In 2016, Nova Bone started manufacturing collagen based biologics. Collagen wound dressings including Tapes & Plugs are the first dental collagen devices to be launched with unique hybrid devices in the pipeline. Collagen wound dressings are designed to absorb blood or fluids and protect and prepare the site for optimal healing and regeneration.
Both plugs and tapes resorb within 10-14 days and are indicated in extraction sockets, sinus defects and other oral mucosal defects.
