Designed to form double backbends in wire for inserting in lingual sheaths. Lingual arch forming plier, for fast forming all lingual retainers.
Forms double-back bend in .036 wire for use in Goshgarian transpalatal arch sheaths.
Sheaths are most commonly used for transpalatal arches, but they may also be used for lingual arches or quad helix appliances.
The wire is bent around the end of the plier, and then crimped closed with progressively smaller grooves in the plier.
