Composition:

100 gms solution contains:
2 Propanol IP – 45 gms
1 Propanol IP – 30 gms
Mecetronium Ethylsulphate – 0.2 gms
Skin protecting Substance

Mechanisms of Action:

XEPI^TM Rub M acts on microorganisms by dual action on Microorganisms.

Proteins are common to all living things but if it loses its shape it becomes nonfunctional and is unable to restore its original shape and functionality. Alcohol breaks the hydrogen bonds in the proteins and denatures the cells. Ethanol also dissolves their lipids and is effective against most bacteria, fungi & many viruses.
QAC acts -disruption of intermolecular interactions & inactivates enzymes.
